The ‘Fighting online hate speech’ training took place on February 4, 2014 at the GEM club and was attended by 9 participants. This training is the second from the cycle of trainings on this subject, to be implemented this year.

Professor Mirjana Najchevska led the first part of the training where she talked about recognizing and confronting hate speech. Afterwards, there was a presentation of the mechanisms for reporting hate speech on the social networks, as well as a practical exercise aimed at strengthening the presentation skills of participants.

The ‘Fighting online hate speech’ training is part of the initiative against hate speech, launched by theYouth Educational Forum, Metamorphosis, Reactor and the New Media Center.
