As attendees at the training “Social media for advocacy”, which took place on 3 July 2017 at Institute for Communication Studies’ premises, approximately ten representatives of the Macedonian civil sector had the opportunity to be introduced with strategies for advocacy and promotion of social media.

This training was organized by the Foundation for Internet and Society Metamorphosis, and the covered topics, inter alia, included: Strategic use of social media and other online tools, Methods for content promotion on Facebook and Automatization of the social media use.

The attendees were representatives of multiple civil society organizations, including the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation, Center for Change Management, Institute for Human Rights and Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

“Unlike other training sessions that are usually promised to be interactive, but they are not, this time the trainers conducted one fun training, which allows listeners’ participation. The presented tools are useful and highly needed” said Ana Neshovska from the Center for Change Management.

“This training provided me with knowledge about new and very useful tools which will improve the promotion of our activities in front of various target audiences” said the representative of Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

This event was held within the project “Accountability through Citizen Engagement”, implemented by Metamorphosis Foundation, supported by the British Embassy to Skopje
