TEDxBaSSalon for Open Data and the Hacking Movement
The fifth TEDxBaSSalon event on the topic of “Open Data & the Hacking movement” was held at the premises of the Smilevski Business Academy. The event was an opportunity to present successful examples of using open data, educating participants about the advantages of “citizens’ hacking”, open access to information and hacking as a tool for solving our daily and societal problems.
According to Ratko Trajkovski, who attended the event, this is a great opportunity for young intellectuals who want to expand their horizons. “The content of the discussions, the debates and even the disagreements are excellent material for all “food for thought” addicts, said Ratko.
Bojan Ristovski agreed with him and said that this is a good way to share ideas that bring people together. “In short, this brings together intellectuals and people with a vast experience and encourages civic initiatives,” said Bojan.
The event was also attended by special guests Mr. Predrag Tasevski, founder of Cybersecurity.mk, Goran Rizaov and Dona Dzambaska, representatives of the Metamorphosis Foundation, and moderated by Damjan Nikolovski.
The event featured TED speeches related to open data & the hacking movement, and after each speech, the guests and the audience discussed on the topics and shared ideas.
