Today’s communication is digital, and our sensitive data is stored in digital form.
In cooperation with activists working in the field of online privacy and security, Metamorphosis is organizing a training on the use of tools providing protection of your private communications and sensitive data. These tools can be used to reduce the risks of interception of communications and the risks of your data being compromised. These days, even civil society organizations are the target of communication interception.
We invite civil society organizations, journalists and activists to register for the training, which is to be held at the GEM Club in Skopje on June 24, 2015 at 10.00 am.
During the training, the Macedonian version of the Security in a box website will be promoted, as a digital security guide for activists and human rights defenders in the world.
Although there is no absolute security, and it seems that there is nothing we can do, there are tools that can help reduce the risks.
What are the risks for your online activity? How can you prevent someone from hacking into your profile or e-mail? How can we protect ourselves against the interception of communications via e-mail and chat? How can we hide our location? – If you are interested in the answers to these questions, please register for the training.
Due to the limited time and space, the first 20 candidates who will register for the training will have the opportunity to attend the first training of this type, and we plan to hold more trainings on privacy and digital security in the future.
