Representatives from Metamorphosis provided training on usage on new media and technologies for young Tunisian activists from 9 to 14 September in Hammamet. The activity is part of the EU-funded project Vox in Box, led by the association Lam Echaml, and featuring Metamorphosis and ALDA as partners.
The training was organized with the aim to increase the public awareness on the importance of the upcoming national elections in Tunisia. Over 120 young activists of Lam Echaml participated, representing six regions in the country.
The aim of the Vox in Box project is to contribute to the democratic system in Tunisia, through the promotion of an active citizenship and a culture of political participation. In particular, it aims to train, raise awareness and engage young people and women in the electoral process and political debate.
