The first training aimed at familiarizing the students with the Global Voices project and including them in the translation of the Macedonian Global Voices website. The interested students were also trained for the WordPress platform, used for the Global Voices project. During the training, the students learned about posting new articles, text formatting, image uploading and similar procedures required for using the platform.
The students from the Faculty of Philology have a new obligation to translate and post articles on the Macedonian Wikipedia. The Metamorphosis Foundation was keen to support this initiative and trained students for posting articles, properly formatting and organizing them on Wikipedia.
10 students attended the trainings, and some of them became volunteer translators of the Macedonian Global Voices website.
