Training on sustainability and Extraordinary meeting held
The first training on sustainability for determining the strategic priorities of the National Youth Council of Macedonia was held from October 25 to 28 at the Feni Hotel, Kavadarci, under the auspices and with the support of the European Youth Forum. Through an open and inclusive process, the members of the National Youth Council of Macedonia had an opportunity during these three days to discuss in detail about the objectives, the vision and future activities and reached a consensus to adopt the following three strategic priorities (for 2014-2015): 1. Strengthening the organizational development and sustainability of the council 2. Recognition of non-formal education and youth work 3. Informing the youth about their rights and responsibilities through the establishment of mechanisms for youth information based on these priorities, the Board of NYCM will prepare a draft-action plan which will be provided to all the members of NYCM for consultation, and adopted at the next Meeting. NMSM held the first Extraordinary meeting since its establishment on October 29, 2013.

Macedonia: New Media Sustainability Conference held
The conference on new media sustainability in Macedonia took place on May 11, 2013, attended by about 80 representatives of the media sector, such as reporters and editors, NGO representatives, marketing agencies and international experts. The event was organized by Metamorphosis and financially supported by the U.S. Embassy.
