23 literary works were published on the Creative Commons website during the past few weeks. Trajche Jovancheski is the author of these works, who is publishing his prose and poetry under the pseudonym Nikodin Chernodrimski.
Nikodin Chernodrimski has been publishing prose and poetry for 20 years, on various web forums, literary blogs and websites on which famous and not so famous writers and poets also publish their works. He was born in Prilep, where he was a member of the amateur theatre group of the “Vojdan Chernodrinski” theatre, which provided him with the opportunity to participate in numerous professional plays, such as “Leap over skin”, “The wizard of Oz”, “We are not angels” etc. His love for writing is stemming exactly from these experiences. He is living and working in Skopje for the past 20 years.
“I’ve tried several times to publish at least one book, but I didn’t even get a negative reply to my submitted requests, and silence and dirt covered those submitted samples… However, I was not discouraged, and that’s why I decided to widely present my works, since I saw the power of the internet and decided to present my works over the internet…”
He is a member of numerous web forums, on websites from the Balkans and the world, where he publishes his poetry primarily in Macedonian, but with the assistance from his friends, some of the poems have been translated into the language used at those locations.
Regarding the publishing of his 23 works under the Creative Commons license, he says:
“I chose Creative Commons, because it is a Macedonian website with a very open and accessible presentation environment, there is no restrictions on the works that are uploaded, and no selection of the authors, but instead presentation of the anonymous authors to the public. Creative Commons doesn’t divide people to big and small, famous and not famous, and this was the reason for deciding to upload my works here”.
By publishing the works in electronic format, he believes that he has an advantage, because this is the time that we’re living in and “on the other hand, it would be madness to print a book in this financial crisis situation, since it is more than obvious that I would have to finance it myself, and then some people who would only publish it, would receive all the credit”.
In order to present his poetry and prose on the internet, on his own portals, he needed knowledge for website administration, so by using appropriate literature he prepared www.cernodrimski.com and www.nikodin.hit.bg
Aside from these, he is also administering four personal blogs: one of them is registered in Macedonia, one of them in Bosnia, one in Bulgaria, and one in Russia .Nikodin Chernodrimski will be publishing under the Creative Commons license in the future as well, since, as he says, “I still have works that should be published”.
