On March 6, 2024, the third training on the impact of new technologies on the realization of digital rights for representatives of civil society organizations, especially those working with marginalized groups, was held in Skopje. The first two trainings were held on February 12 and February 23 , 2024. Through these trainings, a total of 50 activists from the civil society sector were enriched with knowledge about the impact of new technologies on the realization of digital rights.
The aim of the trainings was to enable representatives of civil society organizations to advance their knowledge about the impact of new technologies on human rights online and to strengthen their competences in sharing their concerns with decision-makers, as well as to educate their target groups about the potential risks to their human rights online posed by new technologies.
We remind you that the Metamorphosis Foundation is establishing a Coalition for Responsible Artificial Intelligence. Building the capacities of civil society organizations, especially those working with marginalized groups, is just one step towards building a coalition of stakeholders who care about the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The activities are part of the project “Human Rights Protection in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society, with financial support from the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI – American Bar Association – Rule of Law Initiative).
