The ninth international “e-Society” conference will address the topic of Youth and Media. The conference will take place on February 7th and 8th 2014 in the Youth Cultural Center (Mladinski kulturen centar) – Skopje, Macedonia.

e-Society: Youth and Media
is a two-day conference organized by the Metamorphosis Foundationand the Youth Educational Forum, exploring media from a youth perspective, youth led media, media literacy, information quality, digital media activism, music and movements. The conference is an open, creative, interactive space providing information and enabling discussion, various activities and networking. e-Society: Youth and Media challenges the traditional views of youth and media, and aims to provide knowledge and inspiration for every participant.

Leading experts and activists from 14 countries are the structure of e-Society: Youth and Media: 20 speakers, 10 interactive workshops, 2 panel discussions with 10 speakers, 4 movie screenings and 5 renowned DJs ensure a two-day long agenda for every young person, activist, journalist and citizen.

The conference will present the results from a regional research about the position of youth and media in 11 South-East European countries.
