Mechanisms for communication between the municipal committees for interethnic relations developed within the MEC Project will be presented as a case study during the second day of the workshop during the session “Elements of good coordination.”

Sharing of information on the situation and changes commenced so far within the four pilot-municipalities (Chair, Tetovo, Gostivar and Debar) will contribute to increasing of visibility of MEC project benefits, and will increase the potential for their multiplication in other municipalities.

The workshop is organized by IdejaOK, with participation of representatives of central government authorities including the Ministry of Local Self-Government, the Secretariat for the Implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, the Agency for Minority Rights Realization, the Parliamentary Inter-Community Relations Committee, the Secretariat for European Affairs and other relevant stakeholders.
