On 19 and 20 September 2022, the regular annual meeting of the members of the Platform of Civil Organizations for the Fight against Corruption was held. At the meeting, the future actions and activities were discussed, the Strategic Plan 2022-2025 was reviewed and adopted, and the current situation with the efficiency, transparency and integrity of the state institutions was discussed.
The anti-corruption platform was founded in Skopje on 9 December 2014, by 15 civil society organizations. The purpose of the Platform is to be an active driver towards a proactive, dynamic and empowered civil society that respects, promotes and advocates the principles of good governance and that will play a significant role in the fight against corruption.
The platform, through joint reactions, tends to be corrective to the situation, aims to monitor and analyze the legal framework and current public policies and activities for the suppression of corruption, but also to initiate a public debate on the quality of laws and the need for possible legal amendments.
The platform connects civil society organizations and represents an open place for cooperation, networking and democratic debate in order to strengthen the role of civil society organizations in the fight against corruption in the Republic of North Macedonia.
