On May 4, 2005 another digital clubhouse in the village Brvenica near Tetovo has been established. Mr. Nasiv Sinani, primary school principal, representatives of the municipality’s council and many young people and pupils attended the ceremony.
The digital clubhouse works every day from 14:00 to 21:00 and follows the prepared program. The clubhouse provides free computer courses for word, excel, power-point, and internet. In addition, English language courses are organized using the computers in the digital clubhouse.
The village Brvenica has 4000 inhabitants and primary school with 650 pupils. The digital clubhouse is located near the school, right next to the municipality building.
The digital clubhouse is opened in the realms of Digital Clubhouses Project implemented by the Foundation Metamorphosis and supported by the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia.
The objective of the Project is bridging the digital divide by establishing digital clubhouses in the areas with no internet clubs where people can get in touch with ICT.
