Striking the right balance between innovation and responsibility is essential to ensure a digital environment that addresses issues such as privacy, bias, discrimination, and the ethical use of AI to protect human rights. As AI continues to permeate our daily lives, the need to protect human rights without stifling technological progress becomes a major challenge. Without diminishing the importance of other concepts and principles, the Research on the Impact of New Technologies, With a Particular Focus on Artificial Intelligence, on Human Rights Online, and the Development of Ethical Standards for Protecting Human Rights on the Internet in the Context of Automated Decision-Making, highlights the following ethical standards. These are recognized as a starting point for the creation, implementation, and use of artificial intelligence systems, and should serve as applicable, dignified, and inviolable rules for preserving human dignity due to their safety, trustworthiness, and accountability to people.
