On 10 February 2020, the Metamorphosis Foundation held a webinar “How to build a strong and sustainable system for privacy protection”, within the project “Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda – ICEDA” co-funded by the European Union.

The webinar discussed the current Law on Personal Data Protection and Mechanisms in North Macedonia in terms of CSOs, institutions and citizens, and through it provided knowledge and support to CSOs and institutions for their full compliance with the obligations set by the Law. Over 150 interested citizens, representatives of institutions, civil society organizations, international organizations, schools and the business sector had the opportunity through the webinar to understand the law and the power of (mis)use of their personal data by other entities, but also the dangers of sharing others personal data without any consent.

The webinar was held in the Macedonian language on the ZOOM platform, and you can watch the video below.
