The Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society was part of the stakeholder workshop on the Implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest (2021-2025) and the Roadmap for Developing New Anti-Corruption Strategy (2026-2030) held on February 27, 2025, in Skopje. The event was organized by the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI), with the support of the Austrian Development Cooperation.
Program Director Dance Danilovska-Bajdevska was a speaker at the session “The Road to the New Strategy” during which the timeframe, priorities, and challenges for the implementation of the activities of the current National Strategy were discussed, and ideas were exchanged towards the preparation of a new high-quality, clear, and implementable National Strategy.
This session was preceded by a session in which representatives of civil society organizations gave their addresses regarding the reflections from civil society and the private sector on the implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Corruption and Conflict of Interest 2021–2025, and also presented their suggestions and recommendations for the process of drafting the new strategy.
Representatives of civil society, the private sector, and international organizations, as well as representatives of state institutions, participated in the workshop.
