On behalf of the Metamorphosis Foundation and Civic Literacy Initiative, in partnership with CIVICUS, we are excited to share our Open Call for Applications for the Digital Democracy Hackathon, part of the Digital Democracy Initiative.
What is this about?
We’re inviting applications from civil society organizations, activists, and digital innovators working to protect and expand civic space through technology.
Selected participants will:
- Join a fully funded 5-day hackathon in Bangkok (1- 5, November 2025)
- Receive mentorship and technical support
- Receive pilot funding of 8000$ to develop and scale their digital solutions
Who is eligible?
CSOs and teams from the following countries:
Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine, Turkey.
We’re especially interested in supporting youth-led, minority-led, or underrepresented civic actors working in challenging environments.
