At the invitation of the National Democratic Institute, Metamorphosis was part of the event “Openness and Monitoring of Parliaments in the Western Balkans” which took place on November 13, 2024 in Tirana, Albania.

The event aimed to strengthen cooperation between civil society organizations working on issues related to transparency, accountability, and democratization of parliaments in the Western Balkans region. The main topics covered at the event were building coalitions for more effective advocacy, monitoring of parliamentary codes of ethics, and post-legislative oversight, which were followed by discussions on international standards and metrics that can help strengthen legislatures.
Within the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange their experiences and challenges related to monitoring parliamentary work.
