In the latest episode of Cyber Talks, the Geneva Center for Security Governance – DCAF sits down with expert guests to discuss current gender challenges in cyber. This episode, titled Silencing Women’s Voices, features guests Darvin Murić from the Center for democratic transition in Montenegro and Mila Josifovska Danilovska from Metamorphosis Foundation in North Macedonia. Their discussion sheds light on how online targeting can lead women and girls to self-censor, even among influential figures like politicians, journalists and activists.

This episode has been produced following the launch of the publication Online actions, offline harms: Case studies on gender and cybersecurity in North Macedonia and the Western Balkans – Metamorphosis, co-authored by Center for Democratic Transition in Montenegro and Metamorphosis Foundation in North Macedonia.
