On 15 January the Rural Coalition organized an Initial Promotional Event at which the public was introduced in detail to the activities that the Rural Coalition will implement in the next 18 months, within the project “Digitization in Agriculture – NOW!”. As a representative of the Metamorphosis Foundation, Mila Josifovska Danilovska, Manager of the Social Accountability and Human Rights Online Program, who presented the ICEDA project and the regional network, addressed the event, emphasizing the importance of the civil society sector in providing support to citizens for wider use of e-services.

The project “Digitalization in Agriculture Project – NOW!” will be realized for 18 months on the territory of 5 municipalities, namely: Krivogaštani, Staro Nagoričane, Vrapčiste, Kičevo and Strumica. It will aim to increase the trust of electronic issuance of documents by institutions, but also to increase the level of digital literacy among the local population.

A local e-support center will also be opened in Kičevo, which will directly offer support for the citizens to be able to easily receive the services electronically and in that way to reduce the crowds in front of the counters of the institutions.
