Foundation Metamorphosis with the support of the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia, in the realms of the project National Strategy for development of Information Society organises series of public panel debates with objective of conveying knowledge of many current topics of the sphere of information society.
Public panel debates will take place in Skopje and the schedule is the following:
- 12.12.2005 ICT for more efficient local self-governments (in the realms of NGO Fair)
- 23.12.2005 Increasing internet penetration in Macedonia
- 27.02.2006 Blogging for democracy and development
- 09.03.2006 Liberalisation of telecommunication market as precondition for cheap and quality internet access
- 16.03.2006 Indicators and methodologies for information society development level
Public panel debates follow the conference “iMacedonia for growth and development, too” held on September 29th, 2005 on which the National Strategy for development of Information Society of Republic of Macedonia was promoted.
The objective of the public panel debates is to increase civil participation in implementation and evaluation process of the National Strategy. The travel expenses for the members of the civic organizations from other municipalities interested in participation in the public debates will be covered in the amount equal to one return-trip public bus ticket.
