ACTION SEE (Responsibility, Technology and Institutional Openness Network in the region of Southeast Europe) is a network of civil society organizations working together to promote and ensure accountability and transparency of governments in the South East Europe region, to increase the potential for civic activism, citizen participation, to promote and protect human rights and freedoms online, and to build capacity and interest among civil society organizations and individuals in the region for the use of technology at work for the promotion of democracy.
From February 27 to March 1, 2023 in Skopje, North Macedonia, the founding organizations of the ACTION SEE network held a strategic planning workshop. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Metamorphosis Foundation, Partners for Democratic Change – Serbia from Serbia, the Center for Democratic Transition from Montenegro and “Why not?” (Why not?) from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the workshop, the participants signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and discussed future activities, common visions, and opportunities for collaboration.
Several other network meetings are planned in the coming period.
