The training on “Principles of Openness” was conducted on October 1-2, 2014, in the Porta hotel in Skopje. It was attended by 16 representatives of civil society organizations that have received support within the framework of the “Good Governance Action Network” project.

The training covered several topics, divided into different sessions. During the first day, administrative procedures in the implementation of projects were reviewed, and there was also a discussion about why good governance is important for the EU accession. During the second day, participants had an opportunity to learn more about the anti-corruption practices, about the principles of openness, transparency and accountability, and about open data and their use.

This is the first training of the cycle of trainings to be held in the upcoming period within the framework of the “Good Governance Action Network” project, implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation in partnership with MCET and Reactor, supported by the European Commission through the IPA CIVIL SOCIETY FACILITY (CSF) 2012-2013 program.
