The training was attended by eight activists, mostly representatives of the Focus Foundation, the Municipality of Veles, and Scout Squad ‘Dimitar Vlahov’ – Veles. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the Wiki software and its use, and to learn how to edit text, create links and add sources, edit images, multimedia, tables, categories and discussion pages.
At the end of the training, the final product of the participants was an edited article about Veles according to the standards of the Wiki.mk website.
The training was conducted by Kiril Simeonovski and Snezhana Shtrkovska from the Wikimedia NGO. These trainings are part of the ICT component of the ‘Project for decentralized cooperation between Lower Normandy and Macedonia’ implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation and Wikimedia Macedonia.
The training in Veles is the second training of this kind, after the one held on April 1 in the NGO Support Center in Debar.
