Metamorphosis Foundation is organizing a webinar on the topic “How to build a strong and sustainable system for privacy protection” on 10 February (Thursday) from 10:00 -13:30. The webinar is organized within the project “Increasing Civic Engagement in the Digital Agenda – ICEDA” co-funded by the European Union.
The webinar will discuss the current Law on Personal Data Protection and Mechanisms in North Macedonia from the aspect of CSOs and citizens, and through it will provide knowledge and support to CSOs for their full compliance with the obligations set by the Law. In addition, through the webinar, the citizens will be able to understand the Law and the power of (mis)use of their personal data by other entities, but also the dangers of sharing other people’s personal data without any consent.
The webinar will be held in the Macedonian language and will take place through the ZOOM platform. All registered users will receive a ZOOM login link, and those who attend the webinar will also receive certificates for participation in the email addresses they left in the registration link.
All interested in attending are invited to fill in the registration form (https://forms.gle/Hw4HSUPzhHgzwr1e6) no later than 9 February by 16:00, where, among other things, they can ask their questions that be later answered by the trainer.
Note: Due to the needs of the project, the webinar will be recorded and published on the YouTube channel of the Metamorphosis Foundation, after which it will be shared on social media as a useful resource of knowledge for the general public.
