Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society has the honor to invite you to partake in the Understanding Freedom of Expression Online and Offline workshop taking place on 12 April 2018 at the Journalists’ Club in Skopje.

The workshop will be dedicated to presenting the basic freedom of expression concepts as well as the current and relevant standards of the European Court of Human Rights related to freedom of expression online and offline.

Within the event, we invite you to take part in the discussion on how issues and terms related to freedom of expression can become more familiar to Internet users, especially to journalists and activists that are committed to protection of this freedom, which will accentuate the raising of public awareness on international legal standards that can be applied in daily situations.

Grounds for the workshop is the publication First steps in understanding Freedom of Expression online and offline supported by American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) and the Department of State as part of the Internet Freedom in Europe and Eurasia Project, as well as Association for Progressive Communications (APC) as part of Promoting, Shaping and Upholding Internet Freedoms Project. This publication is available in Macedonian and Albanian through the following links:
