First Macedonian “e-Etiquette” handbook published
The newly published “e-Etiquette” handbook contains a hundred rules for good behavior online, collected with the direct participation of citizens. The guide is published by Makedonski Telekom’s “e-Macedonia” Foundation within the framework of the project “e-Etiquette”, which is also supported by the Metamorphosis Foundation, the Youth Education Forum and the School of Journalism and Public Relations.

Macedonia: Increasing number of e-stores with privacy policies
The Metamorphosis team continues to monitor the presence of privacy policies in e-stores, and the monitoring conducted in March 2013 indicates an increasing number of e-stores and an increased percent of privacy policies in this sector.

5 new publications of Metamorphosis on privacy protection
Metamorphosis published 5 new privacy related publications this year as part of its initiative and efforts for privacy protection. In the age of social media, privacy takes on a new dimension and this is why the new publications focus on indicating the challenges related to privacy when using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, e-mail and include tips for dealing with these challenges.

Macedonia: An increasing number of e-stores, but a decreasing percentage of privacy policies
The latest monitoring of the presence of privacy policies in the e-stores conducted in September 2012 by the Metamorphosis team indicates an increase in the number of e-stores, but a smaller percentage of privacy policies in this sector.

Results from the Mini-survey on students’ opinions about the use of internet and social media
During the 5 debates on social media held in the month of April, 2012 as part of the Social Media for Democracy project, Metamorphosis conducted a mini-survey about the views of young people when it comes to the use of the Internet and social media. The survey covered 154 students from 4 universities in the Republic of Macedonia.

Infographic: E-Waste in the Balkans
If not properly disposed waste electrical and electronic equipment (e-waste) can be a threat to the environment. Researches done to determine the quantity and e-waste management procedures in the Balkans showed that this region has a significant problem with proper management of e-waste and protection of the environment. The first archaeological electronic monograph published under a Creative Commons license
‘The Ancient City of Isar – Marvinci in Valandovo’ is the work of the first graduated archaeologist in Macedonia, Viktorija Sokolovska PhD, electronically published under a Creative Commons license, promoted yesterday in the NGO Infocentre.
