On 18 and 19 December 2025, the first partners’ meeting of the project “Initiating Adult Learning Programmes on AI” was held at the premises of Metamorphosis Foundation in Skopje.
During the meeting, representatives of the partner organizations discussed the planned project activities, the timeline and implementation dynamics, as well as the tools and approaches for ensuring effective communication and visibility of the project results. In addition, roles and responsibilities among partners were coordinated, and the next steps for project implementation were agreed upon.
The project “Initiating Adult Learning Programmes on AI” aims to enhance AI literacy among adult learners and within the adult education sector. More specifically, the project seeks to enable adult education providers to include AI themes into their regular education programmes and activities; empower adult learners (citizens) in using AI tools through the innovative provision of AI literacy adult education; and provide policy guidance and engage in advocacy to support the introduction of AI literacy content in adult education.
The project will be implemented over a period of two years, starting in November 2025. It will include activities focused on initiating adult education resources, promising practices and outreach and advocacy and dissemination, through the creation of: a training curricula for AI literacy for adult learning providers and trainers, a toolkit on setting up AI adult learning programs, an e-Learning awareness raising course, a list of advocacy actions, and an OER platform/website section. In addition, the project will organize a Training of Trainers (ToT), national and local workshops, study visits to Strasbourg and Brussels with a focus on advocacy, a final project conference, as well as communication and visibility activities.
The project is implemented by Metamorphosis Foundation (North Macedonia), Connect International (CI) from Belgium, and Curiosité Centre de Formation (CCF) from France, within the Erasmus+ KA220-ADU – Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education programme, with the support of the European Union through the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility.
