The development of artificial intelligence has led to a global transformative digital advancement that is increasingly impacting our daily lives, work, family, health, sports, socializing, privacy, which is evident through mapping, location, and recognition systems, voice control, personal digital assistants, autonomous vehicle transportation, financial trading, automated negotiation, and translation, etc.
The advancement of artificial intelligence also provides great benefits for our social well-being in areas such as precision surgery and medicine in general, environmental sustainability, education, administration, manufacturing, energy, trade, and more. While it has the potential to improve many aspects of the human experience, due to the dangers of unethical design and use of artificial intelligence, it is extremely important to establish regulations and rules for its use that are mindful of these challenges and guarantee equal protection for all.
The main objective of this research is to assess the impact of new technologies, with a particular focus on the development and use of artificial intelligence, on human rights online. More broadly, the findings should contribute to the protection of human rights online in policies related to artificial intelligence. The result of this research is the development of ethical standards for the protection of human rights online in the creation of policies that regulate automated decision-making.
