Optical cable owned by MEPSO (Macedonian transmission system operator) is ready for rent. Several domestic companies, as well as companies from Slovenia, Croatia, other foreign companies and even NATO are interested in renting the optical cable.
Optical cable owned by MEPSO (Macedonian transmission system operator) is ready for rent. Director of this state enterprise, Trajche Cherepnalkovski, confirmed that the prices and rule book for renting optical cable are approved by the MEPSO Executive Board, Total reports.
“We are now waiting for the business policy of the new Government regarding this issue,” added Cherepnalkovski.
Several domestic companies, as well as companies from Slovenia, Croatia, other foreign companies and even NATO are interested in renting the optical cable.
Only the optical cable owned by Makedonski Telekomunikacii out of four optical cables in Macedonia is used commercially. Optical cable is used for transfer of pictures, audio, internet and telephony.
