On December 10, 2025, as part of the international conference e-Society.mk in Skopje, the Metamorphosis Foundation organized a workshop “Soft Skills and Career Perspectives in Cybersecurity” for participants from the regional CybHER! program.
The workshop was organized in collaboration with the British Council, with expert support from Ljubica Pendaroska, a cybersecurity expert.

Through the workshop, participants discussed the importance of female presence in this field, accompanied by an inspiring address by a guest speaker who shared personal experiences from her career – from the first steps to leadership roles – emphasizing how soft skills, perseverance and professional confidence pave the way to success. During the workshop, participants were introduced to the different domains of cybersecurity, including technical, management, legal, ethical and communication roles, as well as new directions such as cyber diplomacy, digital ethics, privacy, and AI security.

They had the opportunity to identify their strengths and discover the skills that are most in demand in the market, receiving practical recommendations for training, certification and internships. A key part of the workshop was the development of their own personal “elevator pitch” and a motivating discussion on leadership, emotional intelligence, and building influence in the digital world, encouraging participants to continue learning, self-improvement, and networking.
The event is organized by the Metamorphosis Foundation, within the framework of the CybHER project, funded by the United Kingdom Government and implemented by the British Council.
