Telekom announced that the hard disk which has been stolen from the main computer in the Office for data processing in AD Makedonski Telekomunikacii is found.
The hard disk was found yesterday morning in the office which was inspected by the police after the report for robbery. AD Makedonski Telekomunikacii announced that the missing disk did neither jeopardize the security of the users, nor the company data.
Yesterday the police informed that the hard disk containing the complete telephony data for the period from the year 2002 until today has been stolen from one of the computers in the official offices in AD Makedonski Telekomunikacii on the night between 14th and 15th of June. The investigation will continue.
The initial information points the fact that the hard disk contained data for the users- accounts, addresses, dialed numbers, as well as Telecom’s development plans. According to unofficial sources, the hard disk contained data for the present and for the planned number of telephone lines, users, regional inhabitance density which can be used for analysis of telephony development. The data input was done by the employee who died recently.
