In 2004 Foundation Metamorphosis in cooperation with the Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia (FOSIM) started the e-Rider project. The research on ICT Use in the Civic Sector of Republic of Macedonia has been conducted, and the e-Rider project has been presented.

The goals of the Project are to help NGOs create a sustainable ICT strategy tailored according to their activities, goals and mission, to enhance the information and communication capacity of NGOs, to increase and improve the quality of the reporting and promotion of the benefits from the information society, to enhance the information and communication capacity of NGO and to create effective ICT strategies that would enable NGOs to use technology to enhance their activities and mission.

e-Riders are individuals or small groups that assist several nonprofits in a particular region or service sector characterized by a unique and compelling set of practice skills and principles including technology, consulting and planning skills.

e-Riders will provide technical assistance and support NGOs in developing strategy for use of ICT tools. e-Riders from Metamorphosis will travel and visit NGOs providing assistance in developing web sites, use of Internet, creating e-networks and solving day to day problems related to ICT.
