Metamorphosis Foundation and “Shared Knowledge” organise a workshop on the topic of the Wikidata platform. The workshop will be held on September 27, 2022 (Tuesday) from 15:00 to 19:00 at Europe House in Skopje.
Who can attend?
The target group is people who already work or are trainers in the field of structured data, people who deal with free content and open data, people who are in the field of information sciences, but it is also open to other people who want to acquire the skills of editing and using the Wikidata platform.
What will be worked on?
The training will focus on how to create wikitopics on Wikidata, how to insert structured data within an existing or newly created wikitopic, and how to link a wikitopic with a corresponding article on Wikipedia.
About the co-organizer “Shared Knowledge”
Shared Knowledge is a registered association in North Macedonia and is a branch of the Wikimedia Foundation, a hierarchically named user group within Wikimedia. It has existed since March 2014 with the aim of multiplying Wikipedia articles in the Macedonian language, but also other languages Wikipedias, as well as multiplying free content in various forms on other platforms belonging to the Wikimedia Foundation (Treasury, Wikidata, Wikisource, Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wiktionary, Wiki Universities, Wikiviews, and Wikitravel).
