On 30 August 2022, at the Marriott Hotel in Skopje, the event “Let’s talk about privacy” was held, which was officially a closing event of the project “Privacy by Design – Building an Inclusive Digital Ecosystem” that was implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation with the support of ABA ROLI.
At this event, representatives of the project team presented the project activities and the achieved results, and the project participants shared the lessons learned and the way the project changed their habits and way of working.
A representative of the Personal Data Protection Agency addressed the event and presented the Law on Personal Data Protection, the principles on which it rests and the rights and obligations it regulates. The project team also presented a Methodology for assessing the compliance of digital public services with the Law on Personal Data Protection, as well as recommendations for greater compliance of the delivery of electronic public services with the Law.
Around 40 representatives of institutions, civil society organizations, the media, educational institutions, businesses, young people, attended the event and shared their experiences, views and challenges related to privacy protection and personal data protection.
