Topics from previous COMMUNIA events were in the focus of the workshop, in order to systematize the ideas for policy recommendations on a European level.

The first day was reserved for presentations about the public domain and the features of the previously published Public Domain Manifesto. The afternoon was reserved for several panelists who were speaking on topics related to digital heritage, whereas the last sessions were used for presentations about the economic and social value of the public domain.

During the second day of the workshop, speakers held panel discussions about the alternative systems of compensation, and many people from the audience actively participated. The event was closed with conclusions for policy recommendations.
