Within the project “Privacy by Design- Building an Inclusive Digital Ecosystem”, on March 3 and 4, in “MladiHub”, a training was organized for representatives of civil society organizations and journalists on “Personal data protection in the process of digitalization of public services “. The purpose of this training was to strengthen the knowledge of representatives of civil society organizations and journalists on topics in the field of personal data protection; to develop their skills in communicating these topics with citizens and institutions; as well as to share knowledge and recommendations from the current situation with the protection of personal data in the processes of digitalization of public services.

The participants in the training had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Law on Personal Data Protection and the rights of personal data subjects protected by law. Through practical exercises, the participants learned something more about the measures that institutions should take in planning the digitalization of public services and the introduction of new digital tools for citizens and developed recommendations for improving the transparency of institutions.

In the coming period, the Metamorphosis Foundation will organize several workshops, trainings and other activities aimed at raising public awareness of the right to personal data protection, as well as improving the knowledge of citizens, civil society organizations, media, institutions and other stakeholders about current processes in this area.
