During the past 36 months within the CriThink project, Metamorphosis awarded grants and collaborated with 17 local/regional civil society organizations to implement media literacy projects in the 8 planning regions of the country, including the city of Skopje. Most of these projects targeted young high school and elementary school students. Although the approach was different because some directly involved young people to work and create within the projects, and some of them through videos that included humor and satire worked out the topics of media (illiteracy) in our country.

The use of humor and satire as educational approaches in the spread of media literacy and the experiences from this approach will be discussed in the webinar which will be held on 21 June starting at 11.00 Speakers are:

  • Ana Karamandi and Bisera Bijelikj – Stojčevska from the civil society organization “Ganimed” from Bitola and
  • Liljana Tanceva from “Multus”, Gevgelija.

The webinar will be moderated by Violeta Gligoroska from “Metamorphosis”.

The webinar will be broadcast live on the CriThink Facebook page.

The project “Critical Thinking for Mediawise Citizens – CriThink” is implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation in partnership with Eurothink. The project is funded by the European Union.
