Three web portals for e-government services for the Macedonian citizens were promoted in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The portals were promoted by the Prime Minister Buchkovski and Microsoft’s representatives. The portals are realised within Strategic Partnership Agreement signed between Microsoft and Macedonian Government in 2003.
The following portals were promoted:
www.e-uslugi.gov.mk – portal for Macedonian citizens that provides access to information of all ministries in public administration. The portal will contribute towards providing easier access to public information just before the Law is to be adopted.
www.emarketplace.org.mk – portal for small and medium enterprises and their access to internet for launching e-trade.
gs.gov.mk – inner governmental portal for General Secretariat for monitoring the status of implementation of decisions of the Government.
Web portals are developed by Macedonian companies Semos Multimedia (www.emarketplace.org.mk и gs.gov.mk) and Next Sense (www.uslugi.gov.mk), which are Microsoft gold certified partners.
Ilijancho Gagovski, director of Microsoft Macedonia, said that “these project were implemented successfully because the Government and the Microsoft function as partners” with support at every level and that Microsoft will promote the realisation of the Strategic Partnership Agreement, that ends in 3 years, as case study in the new advertising activities around the world.
