Vladimir Lazovski

Chairman of the Board (June 2024 – June 2026)

Vladimir Lazovski has been actively engaged in the civil sector and consulting since 1999. His work primarily focuses on promoting social inclusion and advocating for the human and civil rights of marginalized groups, particularly individuals with disabilities, Roma communities, and children.

From 2017 to 2022, Vladimir served as the Deinstitutionalization Coordinator at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. Prior to this, from 2009-2016, he was the Executive Director of the assistive technology association "Open the Windows." He has also led and managed numerous projects for both Macedonian and international organizations. His experience extends to a humanitarian mission in Darfur, Sudan, where he worked for one year, as well as consulting roles both domestically and internationally. His expertise includes strategic planning, management, research, analysis, public policy development and monitoring, and training.

Lazovski holds a degree in business management and currently serves as a regional expert on deinstitutionalization at SOS Children's Villages.

Маријана Иванова Давидовиќ

Marijana Ivanova Davidović

Marijana Davidović is a journalist by profession. She has contributed to several print media outlets in Macedonia and the broader region, most recently serving as a correspondent for National Geographic Serbia, covering both Macedonia and Montenegro. She is also active in the non-governmental sector. She has worked with the Macedonian Centre for International Cooperation, the Foundation Open Society Macedonia (FOSM), and was one of the founders of the news center “Erina,” among other organizations. More recently, she has been based in Montenegro, where she worked on a project supported by the European Commission at the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro, as well as with the Montenegro Media Institute and the Regional Programme on Cultural and Natural Heritage (SEE Heritage Network).

Zoran Janevski

Prof. Zoran Janevski, PhD

Prof. Zoran Janevski, director of the Institute of Economics – Skopje, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, is an experienced researcher and author in the field of entrepreneurship, digital economy, and e-government. He holds a PhD for his awarded dissertation on entrepreneurship and e-commerce. He developed a model of the influence of entrepreneurship, sources of competitiveness, electronic commerce, and the strategy of innovation of value on the competitiveness and competitive advantage of enterprises. With a background in electronics and telecommunications, his career includes over three decades of professional experience in private and public organizations and consulting roles in ICT and economics for organizations such as UNDP, OSCE, the European Agency for Reconstruction, and many others.

Prof. Janevski has participated in numerous scientific and applied projects, conferences, and trainings in the fields of entrepreneurship, digital economy, and e-government and has published a number of research and professional papers, textbooks, teaching materials, and monographs both in North Macedonia and abroad on these topics.

Зоран Цали

Zoran Cali

Zoran Cali worked for the Foundation Open Society Macedonia as Administrative Director, also covering economic development program, in the period 1997 – 2018, bringing 25-year experience in managing a civic organization. On the administrative side, he managed legal issues, human capital, and budgetary issues. On the economic development program side, he conducted projects promoting entrepreneurial training and education, financial literacy, circular economy projects related to ecology, income provision for vulnerable categories and microfinance banking for the underserved.

Being a BSc in Telecommunication by original vocation, he has also taken continuing education like MSc in Financial Management, Rules and Regulations training for USAID, Corporate Social Responsibility, Microfinance Banking or Advanced Leadership. He is presently Member at a Microfinance Foundation Board.
