This year, Open Data Day (February 21) was celebrated in more than 270 different locations worldwide. It is a gathering of people who will have a chance to share their views and opinions, and to work on the release of data, to create different visualizations and applications based on open data.
For the first time this year in Skopje, Open Data Day was celebrated in the GEM club. The gathering was attended by 15 enthusiasts from various backgrounds who took the opportunity to share their views and experiences, and to discuss about some inspiring examples of people who have used the advantages of open data.
Among other things, they also discussed about the opportunity for applying at the call for obtaining a 9-month scholarship from the School of Data program of the Open Knowledge Foundation.
