The second EduConference for teachers and IT professionals 2016, organized by Friends of Education, took place from 1 to 3 April 2016, at “Drim” hotel in Struga. This conference has an aim to help the current and future teachers in the development and enhancement of their organizational, communicative, methodological and didactic skills. 
This event saw the presentation of teaching examples which are already confirmed as effective, useful and interesting. Also, many topics that are in the interest of the teachers’ professional development were discussed as well. The attendees followed up lectures by eminent domestic and foreign experts affirmed in the areas of pedagogy and information technology.
A representative from Metamorphosis and the Open Educational Resources Alliance delivered a speech explaining what are the open educational resources, why are they so important and how can they be used, by showcasing examples from all over the world. Furthermore, this conference saw the award of the Best OER teachers for 2015 certificates to Roza Kitrozoska and Tanja Metikosh.
In addition, Metamorphosis alongside with the OER Alliance supported the participation of 90 teachers by awarding nominal honorariums to the first 90 signatories who signed the OER declaration, after announcing the application call at this conference.
