Soon to be released: “Get your job done!”

In the realms of CD preparations, with cooperation with the civil society organisation Free Software Macedonia, the user interface of the latest version of OpenOffice.org was localised in Macedonian.

Localisation was performed in two stages:

  1. Translation done at the Translation Marathon with participation of over 50 volunteers.
  2. Detailed expert proofreading of all translated strings in the interface context (“live” application) performed by the team of proofreaders and IT experts.

Apart from OpenOffice.org CD contains localised versions of the internet browser Firefox, e-mail client Thunderbird, GNU image manipulation program – GIMP, as well as other free and open source software.
