During the first coordination meeting which took place from the 28th to the 30th of January in the GEM club in Skopje, the partners from the ACTION VISEGRAD SEE project once again agreed that the ICT tools in their countries, regardless of whether they were developed by civil organisations or the state government, are not sufficiently utilized mostly due to the lack of awareness and skills.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the project coordinators – Metamorphosis Foundation and all 7 partner organizations: atlatszo.hu Nonprofit Ltd. from Hungary, ePanstwo Foundation from Poland,KohoVolit.eu from the Czeck Republic,Pontis Foundation from Slovakia,Center for Democratic Transition from Montenegro,CRTA – Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability from Serbia andCitizens Association Why not? from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During this 3-day meeting, the participants identified challenges and shared best practices from their countries, ultimately concluding that each of their nations is faced with very similar circumstances.

The goal of the ACTION VISEGRAD SEE project is to promote a dynamic civil society which will effectively mobilise citizens to get involved with issues related to good governance and will have an effect on policy and decision making processes at a national and regional level in the Western Balkans.
