On April 6, 2023, a new meeting of the Working Group for the preparation of a proposal for the Law on the use of data from the public sector was held. The working group is part of the activities that the Ministry of Information Society and Administration (MISA) in cooperation with the Foundation for Internet and Society Metamorphosis, implements to harmonize the Law on the use of data from the public sector with the EU Directive on open data and re-use of information from the public sector (2019/1024).
The working group is composed of fifteen representatives of state institutions, the civil sector and the media, and made a significant contribution to the preparation of the assessment of the impact of the implementation of the current law (ex-post evaluation), assessment of the impact of the new legal solution (regulatory impact assessment). and preparation of the new draft Law
The working group finalized the draft version of the new legal solution.
