On the occasion of December 10 – Human Rights Day, the Law Program of the Foundation Open Society – Macedonia (FOSM) will hold a press conference on December 11, 2013 in the GEM club (10.30 am) in cooperation with the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society. During this press conference for journalists, FOSM will promote the free e- platform for sending requests for free access to information of public character.
At the press conference we will inform you about the possibilities of the ‘Free Access’ service (www.slobodenpristap.mk) through which the citizens will be able to obtain quick and easy access to information of public character. In addition, the requests for access, along with the responses from the institutions are publicly archived and will be available online on the website of the service. Thus, the ‘Free Access’ service becomes a useful tool for citizens, but also an opportunity to promote the right to free access to information of public character.
The press conference will be an opportunity to present the possibilities offered by this service and the way in which citizens, including journalists, would be able to use this service in the procedure for free access to information of public character.
