The Macedonian institutions which are part of this network: Metamorphosis, SEGA – Coalition of Youth Organizations, LOKOMOTIVA – Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture, CIRA – Center for Institutional Development, Federation of Farmers of Macedonia (FFRM), Glasnikot and the Association of Macedonian cities with architectural heritage, are focusing on the development of one of the following 6 pillars:
1. Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
2. Youth, education, local and European citizenship
3. Informed society and media
4. Cultural and artistic exchanges
5. Sustainable tourism and cultural heritage
6. Partnership between local communities
These areas offer an opportunity for writing on various interesting topics, which on one hand will emphasize the work of the partners, and on the other hand will fill the site with rich contents, to be accessed by the complete online audience.
The training on use of wiki.mk will enable representatives of the organizations to do practical work on the wiki platform, i.e. greater visibility of the activities of these organizations by promoting their content on this platform, presentation of a project, an activity that would be interesting for the general public, results from some research etc.
The wiki.mk website was created as part of the last year project within the framework of decentralized cooperation, and three portals are functioning as part of it for the cities of Skopje, Veles and Debar. Aside from contents about these cities, other places in Macedonia are also covered.
