We continue with the activities for greater transparency and openness of the local self-government units.

17 local self-government units opened over 100 datasets as a result of the support provided by the Metamorphosis Foundation.

As part of the efforts to improve transparency and openness at the local level, the Metamorphosis Foundation, within the USAID Civic Engagement Project, provided direct support to the following 17 units of local self-government: Kavadarci, Štip, Prilep, Zrnovci, Vevčani, Aerodrom, Gjorče Petrov, Ohrid, Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Dolneni, Tetovo, Želino, Rosoman, Strumica, Vasilevo and the City of Skopje. During the months of March and April, each municipality, in cooperation with local civil society organizations and facilitators, worked on the preparation of open data sets arising from its operation.

Open datasets include data related to municipal budgets, primary and secondary school registers, municipal council members, municipal project data, public procurement, urban and local community registers, the structure of staff, public enterprises and institutions and others.

In the visualizations below you can see the results of the provided support of the 17 local self-government units for open data and improvement of transparency.
