The workshop started with the keynote speeches delivered by Slobodan Vuckovic from the National Information Technology and Internet Agency (RZII) of the Republic of Serbia and Milorad Bjeletic from BOS (Belgrade Open School).
They presented the portal www.euprava.gov.yu in brief, which was further discussed during the workshop (the degree of sophistication of the e-services assessed with the research performed according to the methodology of the European commission).

Natasha Radovic from BOS and Marija Kujacic from RZII presented the goals of the workshop and the work plan, followed by the presentation of Marijana Vidas – Bubanj on the eSEE agenda and the initiatives for e-Government development, and the examples for good practices within the eSEE initiative.

The first session of the workshop was closed with the brief presentation by Jelena Manic from CePIT (Center for Research of Information Technologies) within BOS, who talked about e-Government in the strategic documents adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia (Strategy on Information Society Development, eSEE Agenda +, Strategy on Reforming State Administration, and the Strategy for Serbia and Montenegro accession to EU). 

Then, followed the presentations made by the guests from the neighboring countries on the experiences with e-services. Sanjin Buzo from Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the e-services in their country as well as the assessments of the level of sophistication of these services.Afterwards, Mirza Muleskovic from the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses from Podgorica (ISSP) presented the situation with the e-services in Montenegro. Goce Armenski presented the situation with the e-services in the Republic of Macedonia and presented some statistical data and assessments regarding the level of sophistication of the services, prepared according to the methodology of the European Commission.

The workshop continued with the presentation of Marija Kujacic from RZII who presented the initiatives for e-Government development in the Republic of Serbia. The final session of the workshop aimed at raising the level of sophistication of the e-services in Serbia.

The workshop was also attended by representatives of Macedonia – Biljana Volceska from the Directorate for Personal Data Protection, Goce Armenski from the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, Toni Pajdakov from the Association of the blind from Veles and Ana Trpovska from the Metamorphosis Foundation.
