The Metamorphosis Foundation announces an open call for participants in the training against hate speech on the internet, to be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 in the GEM club in Skopje, starting at 10.30 am.
Participants will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge necessary for identifying hate speech, the technical skills to combat this phenomenon, as well as presentation skills and knowledge transfer skills.
The training is open for all citizens of RM interested in applying and sharing the acquired knowledge and skills within their communities, organizations and associations.
Bloggers and regular users of the Facebook and Twitter social networks are especially welcomed, as well as civic activists, teachers and journalists – as well as everyone else interested in promoting freedom of expression on the internet.
Participation is free and each participant will be able to practically apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the training, through exercises and examples, and travel expenses (bus fares) will be covered for participants living out of Skopje.
The number of participants is limited, and the deadline for registration is Friday (February 21, 2014).
